Nostradamus predicitons 2023
Great war
One of the first predictions that stand out for 2023 is ‘a great war’.
Nostradamus wrote, “Seven months the Great War, people dead of evil-doing. Rouen, Evreux shall not fall to the King.”
This has been predicted as the conflict in Ukraine caused by Russia’s invasion can grow even bigger, resulting in World War 3.
The French city of Rouen bizarrely appears to escape the battle in the scary prediction.
Celestial Fire
Nostradamus also predicted a “Celestial fire on the Royal edifice”.
This is believed to be suggesting that from the ashes of civilisation a new world order will emerge.
Other followers of Nostradamus interpret that this could refer to the “end of times” or the start of a new world order.
Mars landing
The French astrologer also referred to a “light on Mars falling” in his book of predictions, suggesting that humans could possibly visit the Red Planet in 2023.
Elon Musk has suggested that humans will land on Mars by 2029.
It could also be explained as Mars going into retrograde motion and appearing to move backwards in the sky.
New Pope
Nostradamus’ next prediction for 2023 is a new Pope succeeding Francis. He suggested that Pope Francis will be the last true Pope and that the next Pope will create a scandal.
The French mystic wrote, “In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will be Peter the Roman, who will feed his flock amid many tribulations, after which the seven hilled city will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people. The End.”
New World Order
Nostradamus’ prediction for 2023 also talked about the new alliance of two great powers coming together. The new alignment will potentially be between a strong man and a weak one or even a male and a female leader. However, the alliance’s good effects will not be long-lasting.
Global warming
Nostradamus predicted that there there could be further temperature increases and rising sea levels in 2023.
He wrote, “Like the sun the head shall sear the shining sea: The Black Sea’s living fish shall all but boil. When Rhodes and Genoa half-starved shall be, the local folk to cut them up shall toil.”
Civil unrest
The Frenchman predicted, “Sooner and later you will see great changes made, dreadful horrors and vengeances.”
He also wrote, “The trumpet shakes with great discord.
An agreement broken: lifting the face to heaven:
the bloody mouth will swim with blood;
the face anointed with milk and honey lies on the ground.”
This prediction suggests that there could be a revolt against the wealthy as people fight back against the plummeting economy.
